Dang, #Porsche disses #Nissan and #Mitsubishi. I bet #R35 #GTR owners and #Lancer #EvoX owners would be upset. #911 #howrude hahaha
…actually i did spend my youth dreaming of a nissan…
this!
Every kid back in my day: “I want a skyline/supra/lancer/rexy”
“Don’t be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling”
I beg to differ. “I am the world’s poor pessimist”, i know that theres a very decent chance that I will never own a Lamborghini Aventador or a Koenigsegg. The skyline on the other hand is a very attainable goal of mine to work towards. I’ve got it vaguely worked out. Buy an ER34 GT within the next year, stockpile partswhile i’m on my P’s. In four years ill move up to a GTT (or a 32/33 GTR depending on how much dosh) and carry over parts (might be some complications such as the eyelet/fork rear struts between models). And when i finish uni, and am solidly in a job, ill buy an R34 GTR. Prices in Australia will continue to drop (unfortunately so will the median condition of cars in the country).
Honestly i’m waiting for the R-Chassis’ to become so old and so hard to maintain that it weeds out the idiots that don’t take care of their cars. The young’ns wont have to know-how/money to maintain them and the scene will morph into what the classic Datsun scene is like. Full of people that are there for the cars, and not the image they think the car portrays.

What’s with the team mates going head to head at the start of this race?! First Triple Eight, then HRT, then FPR followed by GRM! Kudos boys, not a single bump between any of the cars from the same garage.
It’s a miracle, there’s finally a crowd at an overseas V8 Supercars event, excluding the events held in New Zealand! There’s no way they couldn’t not be happy with the crowd at the Circuit Of The Americas!
I have seen two minutes of V8 Supercars on the COTA and I am in love! Bring on race one! :D
